As of September 6, 110 flights from Suvarnabhumi and Phuket carrying 1,058 international tourists arrived on Koh Samui as part of 3 tourism programs. Phuket Extension 7+7, Phuket Sandbox, and Samui Plus. Wichawut Jinto, province governor said today.
There have been 621 within Samui Plus, 388 within Phuket Sandbox, and 49 within Phuket 7+7 Extension, for a total of 1,058 international tourists. 15 hotels are opened for their accommodation.
Most of the tourist arrivals are coming from France, Germany, United Kingdom, United States, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Hong Kong, and Japan.
Their hotel bookings totaled 7,136 nights, and their projected expenditure was 41,000,000 baht. All tourists are tested negative for Covid-19.
Additional 996 international visitors have made hotel bookings in advance – 657 on Samui Plus and 339 on Phuket 7+7 Extension – totaling 10,485 nights.
Province Governor Wichawut mentioned that TAT and other organizations were in view of adding Ratchaprapa (Cheow Lan) Dam and Khao Sok National Park on tourist programs for visitors who had finished their first 7 days on Koh Samui.
