The annual Pattaya International Fireworks Festival will take place in November and officials expect a good number of tourists during the event. Officials expect more than 100,000 local and international tourists to attend the event.
The 2-day event will take place on Pattaya Beach on November 25 and 26. If the predicted numbers are accurate, the festival will be the largest event held in Pattaya since the pre-pandemic period. The event was held in 2020 and 2021. However, due to health and safety protocols, fewer individuals were allowed to attend.
This year, the city officials in Pattaya are optimistic that the celebration will return in full form. Several beach hotel owners said that their beach view rooms were already fully booked.
The festival’s organizers have said that they want to go all out this year with concerts and cultural events. They assure tourists that it is free admission and enough parking will be provided around the city. There will also be a shuttle service to Pattaya beach.
The International Event and Event Association of Asia recognized the festival as one of the three “biggest marine tourism festivals in Asia”. The municipal manager of Pattaya said yesterday that about 20 countries will participate in the fireworks competition.
According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is one of Pattaya’s most exciting and spectacular events.
