Pattaya International Fireworks Festival

Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is a must-attend event for fireworks enthusiasts and tourists. The festival will be hosted in Pattaya Beach on November 25 and 26, and the fireworks will brighten the whole city.

The mayor of Pattaya, Poramase Ngampiches, said that the event venue will have over 600 street shops offering different kinds of products. The event will feature pyrotechnic teams coming from different countries.  These countries are Malaysia, the Philippines, Belgium, and Canada.

Mayor Poramese is optimistic that the upcoming event will benefit Pattaya’s tourism economy, given that all accommodations in the city are already filled.  Admission is FREE.

Beach Road will be closed to all vehicles starting at 5 p.m. on both days of the event and traffic is expected throughout the city.

In October, city authorities estimated that over 100,000 domestic and international visitors would attend the event. If the expected numbers come true, the fireworks festival will be the largest event held in Pattaya since the pre-Covid period.  In 2020 and 2021, the event also takes place in Pattaya beach, however, due to Covid-19 restrictions, few individuals were allowed to attend the event.

Now, though, city officials in Pattaya expect that the celebration will return in full form. The organizers have said that they want to go all out this year with music and cultural activities.

The International Event and Event Association of Asia recognized the festival as one of 3 “significant marine tourist festivals in Asia” in March 2022. The municipal manager of Pattaya said yesterday that about 20 countries participate in the fireworks competition.

Initially, the event was conducted to honor the reign of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The mayor of Pattaya said that the city would continue to develop the festival and other Pattaya events so that they may also earn the award next year.

According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the upcoming fireworks festival is Pattaya’s most stunning and thrilling event.

After a lengthy Covid downturn, the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival will attract tourists again.
