Pattaya International Fireworks Festival Recognized As Top 3 Ocean Cities In Asia

The Tourism Authority of Thailand announced that the International Festivals and Events Association or IFEA has recognized Pattaya International Fireworks Festival as one of Asia’s top three Ocean Cities Festivals.

The award was handed over on March 25, 2022, in Tongyeong City, South Korea.

The annual 2-day Pattaya International Fireworks Festival, organized by Pattaya City, is one of the most stunning and entertaining events. Typically held later in the year, it attracts pyrotechnic teams from all over the globe who light up the night sky with a succession of spectacular fireworks displays. Entertainment, live music, delectable cuisine, and a variety of other activities enhance the celebratory atmosphere along Pattaya Beach Road which is closed for the Festival.

The Pattaya International Fireworks Festival’s date for this year has not yet been announced.

Thailand’s winning streak continues with the inclusion of the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival among the top three events. The Songkran Festival (traditional Thai New Year) was recognized as one of Asia’s three main festivals by the International Festivals and Events Association in 2021.

The International Festivals and Events Association which is based in Boise, Idaho, USA, recognizes quality and uniqueness in festivals worldwide and assists host nations in marketing events and improving awareness.
