Prime Minister of Thailand, Prayut Chan-O-Cha, has applauded the report that Thailand ranked as the top place for wellness retreats worldwide.
Thai wellness services topped worldwide rankings based on Tripadvisor reviews and a study from Slingo, a leisure website.
The study focuses on which countries had the finest resort hotels and wellness services.
Thailand ranks first with a rating of 9.5 out of 10 on wellness.
According to Slingo, “Thailand is the spa capital of Asia and home to a number of the world’s best therapeutic and exquisite getaways. Thailand is at the top of our list, with more positive evaluations for health activities and resorts than any other destination we researched.”

Additionally, the study also ranked countries with the best wellness activities.
