Coffee enthusiasts in Bangkok have something to look forward to. Today marks the beginning of a 4-day coffee festival at Impact Exhibition Hall 5-7 in Nonthaburi province, north of Bangkok. According to the Thailand Coffee Fest’s Facebook page, the event will take place today through Sunday, July 17, from 10 am to 8 pm.
The Thailand Coffee Fest 2022 is being held with the subject “Designing the Future of Thai Coffee.” It is organized by the Specialty Coffee Association of Thailand and the lifestyle publication The Cloud. The event will include a coffee demonstration by an award-winning barista in addition to presentations by special guests.
The speakers will cover coffee production and environmental sustainability. There will be products from 200 cafes participating in the event. Thailand Coffee Fest says in a Facebook post about the event.
“We have recently overcome the crisis caused by the pandemic along with many countries worldwide. Thus the new trip is headed towards the future in unprecedented new directions, chances, and possibilities in order to create a new history.”

Thailand has developed a long way since the planting of the first coffee tree in Doi Inthanon, Chiang Mai. As the specialty coffee industry in Thailand continues to improve, more and more specialty coffee beans can be bought across the country.
