Beachgoers and surf enthusiasts are in for a treat. The Tourism Authority of Thailand has announced four exciting surf festivals set to take place in June and July. These events are part of the “Year of Thai Tourism 2023” initiative, aimed at enriching the travel experiences of both local and international visitors with a mix of music, art, sports, culture, and leisure.

Kicking off this wave of festivities is the Khaolak Surf Festival 2023. From Friday to Sunday, surfers will descend upon Memories Beach in Khao Lak, Phangnga, to showcase their skills and compete for a generous prize pool of over 220,000 baht. Performances from acclaimed artists and DJs such as Khan Thaitanium, Twopee Southside, Valentina Ploy, Lazyloxy & Samblack, Tontradul, and Maiyarap will amplify the atmosphere.

The excitement continues with the Phuket Surf Contest 2023, slated for June 23-25 at Kata Beach. Beyond the surf competition, the event will be abuzz with music and camaraderie. Live performances from Atom, Twopee Southside, Zom Marie, Whal & Dolph, Tontrakul, Pixxie, and others are set to create an upbeat, celebratory atmosphere.

In July, solo travelers can find their haven at Songkhla Beach Life 2023. Scheduled for July 7-9 at Chalatat Beach in Songkhla, the event will offer a host of beachside activities against a backdrop of pine forests. Attendees can look forward to board seminars and live performances from renowned artists such as Safeplanet, Musketeers, Hybs, Dept, Loserpop, and Yours.

Closing the festivities is the Huahin Beach Life 2023. From July 21-23, Hua Don Beach in Khao Takiab, Prachuap Khiri Khan, will become a hub of beachside enjoyment. Here, attendees can participate in Sup Clinic sessions and seminars and groove to the music of The Toys, Violette Wautier, Musketeers, Zom Marie, Whal & Dolph, and Loserpop, among others.

Each festival will also feature a culinary delight, with a food zone offering delicious delicacies from local restaurants. And for those looking to shop, a designated area filled with fashionable beach items will satiate all retail desires.

This event promises an incredible journey of beach life, surf, music, and culture.
