According to the report, travelers from Thailand can now enter Germany without undergoing mandatory quarantine if they are fully vaccinated with authorized vaccines approved by Germany. These are AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer.
In addition to being fully vaccinated, travelers from Thailand (local or foreign) must provide a negative RT-PCR test result obtained within 72 hours of flight or a negative antigen test obtained within 48 hours. Recovered COVID-19 travelers must provide a document of positive RT-PCR test result at least 28 days old but no older than six months or provide a document of being fully vaccinated with an authorized vaccine 14 days prior to arrival.
Travelers from Thailand to Germany must provide the main purpose for their travel except for Thai nationals who also have German citizenship, those who have a family or home in Germany or anywhere in the European Union, and those who are fully vaccinated with an authorized vaccine at least 14 days prior to their arrival. Arrivals who have entirely recovered from COVID-19 and received at least one dose of an authorized vaccine don’t need to present a reason for their visit.
