In accordance with the reopening tourism policy that took effect on October 1, 2022, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has confirmed that Thailand will remain open and welcome all foreign tourists.
Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health said “Foreign travelers coming in Thailand are not required to present vaccination documents.”
Furthermore, international travelers are not required to present RT-PCR or Antigen Test Kit (ATK) results. However, although Thailand is open to all tourists, a visitor source market may need arriving visitors including their own nationals coming back home to their country of origin to have a negative PCR test.
As a result, tourists from countries that require RT-PCR testing must have health insurance with COVID-19 coverage in Thailand.
The Ministry of Public Health released a health insurance guide for foreign tourists going to Thailand.
