Mun Daeng waterfall

Phitsanulok offers a captivating journey that promises to rekindle the spirit of adventure.  Nestled amidst the lush green forests of Phitsanulok’s Nakhon Thai district lies a rare treasure – the Mun Daeng Waterfall, which hosts a floral display of rare snapdragons.

Lamyong Srisawek, Chief of Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, invites tourists to witness the beauty of Mun Daeng Waterfall.  Each year these vibrant snapdragons unveil their beauty in blanketing the waterfall, particularly its fifth level, in an enchanting hue of pink.

To uphold the safety and well-being of visitors, Mr. Srisawek provides the following guidelines:

1. Dress Smartly: Given the terrain, wearing long pants and socks is recommended. This ensures comfort during the trek.

2. Footwear: Wear shoes with the right grip and ease to ascend the waterfall region, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable experience.

3. Protect Your Equipment: If you’re carrying a camera or any other electronic equipment, carrying a plastic bag is vital to shield it from unexpected rain or waterfall spray.

4. Weather Readiness: Tropical weather can be unpredictable. A raincoat and an umbrella ensure you remain dry and enjoy the beauty even if it rain.

The park authorities will provide guides to accompany tourists. After indulging in the captivating beauty of the snapdragons and the waterfall, travelers can continue on a 1.5-kilometer journey to the Mun Khao village in Tambon Kok Saphan of Loei’s Dan Sai district. From there, transportation will be arranged for a comfortable return journey, ensuring that the experience is memorable from start to finish.
