Expanded Eligibility for All Nationalities Effective immediately, the company will expand its eligibility criteria to accept membership applications from all nationalities, except North Korea. This policy shift, prompted by valuable feedback from agents and recent immigration statistics, marks a departure from previous restrictions that limited applications to certain nationalities based on directives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Suspension of Application Fee – Alongside this policy expansion, Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. is also temporarily suspending the 50,000 Baht membership application fee. This suspension will apply to all applications submitted from September 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. This initiative is designed to encourage potential members to apply, particularly in light of the current economic conditions and recent changes in visa policies.
Background Check Requirements Applicants must still undergo a rigorous background check process involving four key Thai government agencies: the Immigration Office, the Department of Consular Affairs, the Foreign Affairs Division of the Royal Thai Police, and the Central Investigation Bureau. The entire verification process is expected to be completed within one month, with approval from all four organizations required before any payment steps can proceed.
